Letter
report on flammability test performed on four samples used in the production of
E-Z UP Instant Shelters and accessories submitted by the client.

We have completed the testing of your product to the requirements of the CAN/ULC
S-109
large scale test standard. The test was performed on May 28, using the regular
S-109 test apparatus (#180-091). Sample had previously been conditioned in
accordance with the paragraph 5.4 of the ULC S-109 standard and were cut
from a plain portion of the test sample you submitted.
The sample tested is a black synthetic fabric with a thickness of 0.24mm and is
representative of the fabric used in the production of E-Z UP tops, walls,
railskirts, table covers and other E-Z UP fabric accessories. The sample was
brought to us by the client on May 28, 1998.
Results of the test are reproduced in the table below. S-109 large scale test
calls for individual samples which shall have no portions or residues of the material
which break or drip from the test specimen, continue to flame for more than 2
seconds and have a damaged length exceeding 250mm.
